About Us and RNR
11 Years in the Making, Ready New Recruit is a Labor of Love and Probably the Closest Thing I Have That Fits the Definition of "My Life's Work". Unfortunately.
We've got it all. Original characters. Cool music. 600+ pages of scripts. And over a decade of inexperience putting it all together.
Our Story
It started as a group of college friends working on a shared passion project. Then life, school, and reality got in the way. Then we all graduated and moved. Then there was a pandemic, but we didn't really work on this much during that. And then a bunch of other stuff happened and we're here now, so it all worked out in the end.
Our Vision
We set out to make machinima like it was made in the "glory days" of early YouTube. Low-budget, high-effort, and with a hell of a lot of love, goofiness, and excitement. And also without AI.
Support us by contributing to our crowdfunding campaign! Or by buying a shirt or something. We've got merch.
